Attorney Brian W. Coffman’s educational and professional career has been results-driven and marked by his desire to take on challenges and succeed. While studying Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, he was an All-American, All-Conference athlete, playing college basketball and golf on the varsity teams. He was President of the Student Athlete Association and was named the NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Representative for the Sportsmanship & Ethical Conduct Committee and the Great Lakes Valley Conference 2001 Student Athlete of the Year, which takes into consideration academic and athletic excellence.
Brian went on to graduate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and entered the field determined to see results. After defending corporate insurers for many years, he found that he could make a real difference on the other side, representing the interests of accident victims looking for help and being an advocate for injured persons and their families facing difficult situations.
Attorney Brian W. Coffman enjoys the thrill of guiding people through a seemingly complex legal system and being able to make the best possible use of his skills. He carries that attitude with him outside the courtroom as well, where he acts as an Ambassador and Young Counsel Member for the First Tee of Chicago, an organization that helps underprivileged children by promoting character development and life-enhancing values through one of Brian’s favorite games, golf. He also volunteers with K.E.E.N., a Chicago nonprofit organization dedicated to providing one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities.
